• Our salvation comes 100% from God's grace. It has already been established. All we have to do is decide to step into it, by believing and having faith in the fact that Jesus Christ came to earth and allowed Himself to be tortured and killed, in order for us to have a relationship with, and live forever with God, the creator of all things.
Ever wonder why this world is so jacked up?... It's because of the fact that humans have an inherent selfishness about them. Our selfish nature is continuously fighting to self-preserve, self-promote and get more; enticing us toward immorality even if we know it's not good for us. When left unchecked it inevitably leads to harmful behavior, to ourselves and/or others. Even when we are able to train our minds and make decisions for self correction, perfection is never attainable. Why is this?... When God originally created humans, we were connected to Him in a very supernatural way. He gave us a perfect place to live and enjoy, and, at that point we did NOT have a selfish nature.
In the very beginning, God gave us two choices... One; continue to live in this perfect environment, with our creator, the source of all love and wisdom, the one who would provide for, and shepherd us forever. Or, choice number two... We could choose to go, make our own way and be our own keeper, so to speak; separated from God. This choice comes with a warning. God said, directly, not to choose this option, and if you do, death would occur. Meaning, things would drastically change for the worse. Not only would we have to spend eternity in torment after we die, but while we're alive, we would experience a spiritual separation from God (the loss of a shared spirit with Him), and the loss of much of His supernatural provision.
The original humans chose the second option, thus changing human nature and the physical realm, forever. This is why we need redemption. To adopt us back into His provision.
God the Father sent a part of Himself down to earth to become a mortal man, born from a virgin woman, who was supernaturally impregnated. She gave birth to Jesus Christ... God in the flesh; 100% God and 100% man. Jesus lived a sinless, blameless life. Even after being tempted in excruciating ways, He never sinned or turned away from His Father. He allowed Himself to be murdered brutally for our sins. Then He overcame death by coming back to life, and ascending to heaven; re-establishing our capacity for a shared spirit with our creator. Jesus took the consequences of our sin, upon Himself.
Now, God gives us the opportunity to return and connect to Him in relationship (very similar to a marriage commitment). All we have to do is believe these things are true, to the point of following Him and His ways... Then we are saved, and our journey begins.
Jesus tells us to believe and have faith in Him, and then we are saved. However even after choosing to follow Christ, we will still have a tendency toward selfishness, which is why Jesus also tells us to carry-out our faith by actually following Him... There is a, supernatural transformation of our nature and character that happens over time, in the act of following Him. Following Him consists of us pursuing a deeper relationship with Him, and loving and helping others. Our relationship with Him gets deeper through learning more about Him by talking to Him regularly, reading the Bible, discussing it with others, and following His instructions.
When we make the decision to follow Christ, God sends His Spirit to commune with us; giving us an ability to understand His Word in a supernatural way, and, among many other things, comfort us with His presence.
Salvation itself has nothing to do with how we behave. We cannot earn our salvation. God is more about who you are and who you will become, than what you do. HOWEVER, understand that sin changes (for the worse) who we are and who we will become, as well as diminish the power of God in our life.

• Obedience requires dependence on God.
• This physical, 3-dimensional universe that we can see, was created from an invisible realm, outside of time.
